Dr. Oram came to Trinity in 2005 from a full-time professional psychology practice in Nashville, TN. She had also recently taught college courses as an adjunct instructor at Southwest Virginia Community and Bluefield State Colleges, where she developed a love for helping students learn. In addition to teaching and mentoring students, Dr. Oram has a part-time private practice and presents workshops in church settings. She also co-authored book chapters on sexual and gender identity disorders and ethics, legal and multicultural issues in mental healthcare. She and her husband, Chris, have two young children, two kittens, and a dog. In her spare time, Dr. Oram likes to sing and play guitar, read, and swim. In addition, she serves in the children’s music ministry at her church.
