Where Can This Degree Take Me?
The Biblical Studies major is designed to prepare students to grasp the message of the Bible, interpret the Scriptures accurately and integrate faith with the world. The major prepares students for positions of lay leadership in church and society, for graduate study at a seminary or university, or for a variety of Christian ministries at home or abroad. This program is designed to immerse you in Biblical, Religious, and Philosophical Studies here at Trinity International University.
Students graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies will be able to identify the basic elements of Christian ethics, analyze biblical texts in their historical, grammatical, and theological context and interpret the Scriptures accurately by applying linguistic, historical, theological, and philosophical methods, and explain the major doctrines of Christianity and articulate his or her own theological convictions by integrating scriptural interpretation, biblical philosophy, and critical thinking.
